Peachtober 2021
Peachtober is an art prompt list created by artist Sha'an d'Anthes for artists to create personal work. This was my first year participating in it and I wanted to use it as a chance to experiment with my personal style and have some fun.
Medium: Gouache, watercolor, Posca pens
While there was no specific rhyme or reason to the prompts given, I thumbnailed the prompt words and went with a fixed color palette. My thumbnails turned into more detailed sketches which I then transferred onto my watercolor paper. The paintings started to take on a fantastical theme inspired by the movie Stardust.
